The business around thrifting has been ongoing for a while and it has expanded over time to cater for people’s different needs, in items they can’t originally get at affordable prices, and this has also become a very lucrative form of business for people who deal in the wholesale, retail parts of the business. These items aren’t limited to clothes but items like furniture, musical instrument and electronics etc, can be considered thrifts.
The thrift expo sales experience gives a whole new view to how items are exchanged when the very formal rules of marketing aren’t overly applied and despite some of its drawbacks, it presents an avenue for sellers to connect with buyers with much ease, and quickly.
My experience has taught me, an expo dealing on items like thrifts should be encouraged more and people should try to take advantage of it, for their unusually low prices, qualities and overall, an avenue for people to meet and network.
