Being a city-cab or taxi driver around any major city, is usually seen as a profession anyone can pick up and engage in, this has over the years contributed to the availability of drivers for the number of choices of drivers and cars. Behind the scenes, the level of scrutiny needed to qualify differs greatly from countries cities to another. The industry has seen a recent trend development of the introduction of high tech, smart cars and opened more ways for ordinary people to engage, to use their vehicles for such services as a side hustle, but there are still very recognizable cabs within cities which gives it a more distinct and different look; sometimes by the cars designs or colors… The industry is usually closely monitored by most cities government, to maintain order and above all, the security of the passengers, so, a thorough background check should be encouraged.
